Henderson County Sheriff's Bat Cave Helene Destruction

Henderson County -- October 25, 2024: Henderson County Sheriff's Office: Today, the ‘David’ squad Telecommunicators had the

honor of visiting the Bat Cave and Gerton communities, which were completely devastated by the hurricane.

It was surreal to witness the destruction firsthand, but even more incredible was spending time with two amazing fire departments. The work they’ve done to rebuild their communities is beyond words. Massive shoutout to the Bat Cave and Gerton Firefighters for their unbelievable efforts!
