open and ready for visitors, with fall colors creating the perfect backdrop. Our Main Streets, bed and breakfasts, local shops, and eateries need your support as we continue to recover and rebuild. By visiting now, you can help these beloved businesses thrive, ensuring they remain a vibrant part of our community.

While Lake Lure is on the path to recovery, travel to the area is still not advised. Some areas will open soon, so please get in touch with businesses directly for details if you have travel plans to the area. Chimney Rock is still closed to visitors as we focus on restoring this cherished area.
