Phone Calls to Victim Lead to Additional Felony Charge
McDowell County -- Justin Trent Arrowood, 35, of Marion, was charged by the McDowell County Sheriff's Office with two charges of felony intimidation of a witness. A $25,000 secured bond was given to him.
Due to a domestic violence incident involving a female acquaintance on March 13 that resulted in criminal charges against him, Arrowood is presently detained at the McDowell County Detention Center. In addition to other drug-related offenses, those accusations included misdemeanor assault on a female, felony restraint, and felony assault causing serious bodily harm to an unborn child.
The Sheriff's office was notified on March 26 that Arrowood had been calling the victim from the McDowell County Detention Center on a regular basis.
He is currently subject to a No Contact Order issued by the judge.
