Haywood County -- Haywood County COVID-19 Beginning Monday, April 20, the Haywood County COVID-19 Hotline hours will be adjusted from  8 a.m. to 7 p.m., 7 days a week to the new hours of Monday - Saturday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Center will be closed on Sunday.

Governor Roy Cooper today charted a path forward for eventually easing certain COVID-19 restrictions while still protecting North Carolinians from a dangerous second wave of the virus.

RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) — North Carolina will need more widespread COVID-19 testing, extensive efforts to track down people in contact with the sick and slowed case and hospital rates before movement and commerce restrictions can ease, Gov. Roy Cooper said on Wednesday.
