Asheville -- A vehicle accident that claimed a life in West Asheville on Sunday morning is being investigated by the Asheville Police Department.
On Sunday, at about 11:23 a.m., APD Patrol Officers responded to the accident close to Exit 1B on Interstate 240 West.

According to the preliminary investigation, Dustin Lee Hensley (07/21/1990) was operating a 2012 Ford Pickup vehicle while carrying a trailer of hay bales on I-240 westbound when the driver lost control and the vehicle and trailer rolled over.

Both the driver and the passenger were taken to Mission Hospital, where the driver passed away from his wounds.  Notice has been sent to the next of kin.  Minor injuries were received by the passenger.
