Asheville Police Make Drug Trafficking Arrest
Asheville -- November 12, 2024: Asheville Police Department Press Release: Asheville Police Department officers
arrested a woman on drug trafficking charges Saturday night.
While conducting proactive enforcement in the area north of downtown around 9:21 on November 9th, officers encountered a vehicle committing multiple traffic violations. During the traffic stop on Crescent Street, the driver, Alexis Helena Cromer (11/24/1995), was found to be in possession of a trafficking amount of fentanyl as well as methamphetamine and Oxycodone. Cromer was taken into custody without incident.

Cromer was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under NO BOND (ineligible for release) by a magistrate due to parole violation.
