Avery County -- October 21, 2024: Avery County Government News; Voting sites were impacted by the storm, requiring

the Board of Elections to combine sites and change the location of many. See the updated sites for voting in the Nov. 5 general election below:

3. Pineola — Land Harbor Rec Center — 22 Land Harbor Plaza, Newland, NC
4. Carey’s Flat — New Hopewell Baptist Church — 5086 Edgemont Road Collettsville, NC
5. Linville and Banner Elk — Avery County Ladder Truck Hall — 100 Fire Station Road, Linville, NC (100 Cranberry Trail, Linville, NC on Google Maps)
6. Beech Mountain — Beech Mountain Community Center — 60 Flat Springs Road, Elk Park, NC
7. Heaton and Elk Park — Elk Park Town Hall — 169 Winters St., Elk Park, NC
8. Cranberry and Minneapolis — Cranberrian Corporation — 5215 Elk Park Highway, Elk Park, NC
