While we are still feeling the effect of Hurricane Helene, and work continues to be done, we want to say thank you for your thoughts and prayers over the past couple of weeks. We have felt the love, and we have appreciated your support.

Maggie Valley is coming alive with the arrival of Fall colors, cooler temperatures and beautiful blue skies just in time for the Fall Arts & Crafts Show, October 19 & 20. Our shops and restaurants, attractions and outdoor adventures are anticipating your return!

Although some areas are still recovering, you will find Maggie Valley ready to welcome you with open arms.
We want you to be aware that you may find your favorite thing to do in Maggie is closed: The Blue Ridge Parkway in NC remains closed due to the damage and cleanup efforts; therefore, the hiking trails along the Parkway are closed. But there are still plenty of hiking trails to stroll.

 The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is open, although Cataloochee Valley, where the elk were reintroduced, is closed. The Oconaluftee Visitor Center in nearby Cherokee is a great place to see the elk during the early morning or late evening hours. A visit to Soco Falls might be a nice stop along your way. It won’t be long before Cataloochee Ski Area is making snow and skiers return to shred the gnar! 

Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays is a great time to visit Maggie Valley. Whether you spend it with family or friends, the perfect get-a-way in a cozy hotel room or vacation rental in Maggie Valley will make your holidays merry and bright! We encourage you make your reservations now, as space fills up fast!
