Old Fort Man Charged with Stolen Property

McDowell County -- September 26, 2024: McDowell County Sheriff's Office: charged Richard Darrin Cody of Old Fort with

felony Possession of Stolen Goods or Property. Cody was given a secured bond of $15,000.

On August 27, a report was made involving Cody as a suspicious person with a firearm in the Old Fort area. Detectives responded to Cody’s residence and discovered a stolen U-haul trailer out of Arden.
