McDowell County Man Faces Felony Drug Charges
McDowell County -- September 9, 2024: McDowell County Sheriff's Department charged 34-year-old Rusty James Rathbone
of Marion with felony Manufacture of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance, and felony Possession of a Schedule VI Controlled Substance. He was given a $20,000 secured bond.
On August 15th, McDowell County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to a domestic violence call in Nebo involving Rathbone. There, deputies discovered marijuana plants being grown on the property.
