Town of Franklin Upcoming Street Closures for Events

Franklin -- August 1, 2024: Town of Franklin Government Community News: There are several events that will be

taking place downtown on Friday, August 2 and Saturday, August 3 that will impact traffic and result in varying street closures.

Friday 8/2/2024 10:30 AM - Iotla Street will be closed to allow for set up of the stage for the 80’s Flashback weekend performances. The parking areas will still be accessible via Church Street and the drive through at Crabtree General Store will remain open.

Friday 8/2/2024 4:00 PM – there will be a left lane closure to allow for vendor set up on Main Street. Phillips Street will be closed at the same time.

Friday 8/2/2024 5:00 PM – Main Street will be closed at Riverview Street and all connecting streets will be closed to Harrison Avenue. Detours will be in place to route traffic around Main Street. Iotla Street and Phillips Street will remain closed until Saturday night as there are events on Saturday morning (Artisan Alley on Phillips and Macon County Farmers Market on Iotla).

Saturday 8/3/2024 3:00 PM -there will be a Left Lane Closure on Main Street to allow for vendor set up.

Saturday 8/3/2024 4:00 PM - Main Street will be closed at Riverview Street and all connecting streets will be closed to Harrison Avenue.

Vehicles on Main Street should be removed prior to the final street closure times or risk being towed.
