Macon County Man Convicted of Trafficking and Gun Charges
Macon County -- July 15, 2024: Investigators from the Franklin Police Department and the Macon County Sheriff's
Office apprehended Michael David Adams on March 13, 2024, for Trafficking in Opium/Heroin.
Adams was recently convicted of one count of Felony Trafficking Opium/Heroin and one count of Felony Possession of Firearm by Felon. He has been sentenced to serve two concurrent sentences of 17 months to 30 months in prison and 70 months to 93 months in prison, respectively.
Additionally, he has been assessed a fine of $50,000.
