Two Charged in Henderson County Storage Break-ins
Henderson County -- March 27, 2024: Henderson County Sheriff's Office Press Release:
In continuation of the arson investigation at the SmartShop Self Storage at 1931 Spartanburg Hwy on March 02, 2024, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office Property Crimes Detectives began an investigation into multiple storage units being broken into with items taken. During the investigation, multiple Search Warrants were executed, and interviews were conducted with suspects and victims. As a result, several truckloads of property were recovered, with victims identified.
Property Crimes Detectives have charged Rebecca Lynn Luna and Martin Alfaro, both of Hendersonville, with:
• 4 Counts of (F) Breaking & Entering
• 4 Counts of (F) Larceny after Breaking & Entering
• 4 Counts of (F) Conspiracy to commit Breaking & Entering
• 4 Counts of (F) Possession of Stolen Goods
Luna was already incarcerated at Henderson County Detention Center for unrelated charges, and remains under a combined secured bond of $675,000.00
Alfaro is currently incarcerated in Henderson County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 Secured Bond.
