Asheville man Faces Multiple Charges, held on $400,000 bond
Asheville -- March 11, 2020 Asheville Police: Murell is being held on a $400,000 bond.
The Asheville Police Department has arrested William Todd Murell (54), of Asheville, on multiple charges regarding the sexual assault of two women. Charges include:
- 1st Degree Forcible Rape
- 1st Degree Kidnapping (2 counts)
- 1st Degree Sex Offense
- Assault Inflicting Serious Bodily Injury
This investigation is ongoing. We believe there are members of the community that could assist in the investigation.
