Law Enforcement Search for Escaped Cherokee County NC Inmate

Cherokee County -- Press Release: Cherokee County Sheriff's Office: The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office is looking for an escaped inmate and is asking the public for help.

The inmate, Robert “Robbie” Revis, is a white male, about 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing around 155 pounds. He was last seen at 9:28 a.m. near 9554 U.S. Highway 19. At the time, he was wearing tan inmate clothing, but officials say he may have changed clothes.

If you see Revis or know where he might be, call Cherokee County Dispatch at 828-835-3144 right away. Do not try to approach him.

Authorities are continuing their search and will release updates as they become available.
