
Asheville Police Arrest Man on Drug Trafficking Charges
Asheville -- Around 1:19 p.m. on April 20, Asheville Police were called to a complaint of a suspicious car in the 40 block of Monte Vista Road. In the neighborhood, officers found the car that fit the description.
The driver, Wayne Kenneth Wells Jr. (04/30/1978), was apprehended without incident after officers made contact with him and discovered that he was in possession of a trafficking quantity of fentanyl. A passenger in the vehicle, Brooklyn Ciara Shook (03/01/1995), who was wanted on open warrants, was also taken into custody.
