
Drug Charges After Traffic Stop in Franklin
Franklin -- Franklin Police Department: On Tuesday March 11, 2025 at approximately 12:08 PM, the Franklin Police Department CTAC Officer
stopped a vehicle on U.S. Highway 441
for a traffic violation. ย During the traffic stop, officers had the driver exit the vehicle to gather more information and further investigate. ย The driver returned to her vehicle to retrieve vehicle registration documents to present to the officer. ย The driver then got into the driverโs seat of the vehicle, and began to flee.ย
FPD Officers and Macon County Sheriffโs Office Deputies began pursuit of the suspect, during which time the suspect threw large amounts of suspected methamphetamine from the vehicle. ย The suspect was eventually apprehended and taken into custody without incident. ย Law enforcement officers were able to collect approximately 843 grams (1.86 pounds) of suspected methamphetamine from the roadways and suspectโs vehicle.
The suspect is identified as Adrienne Nichole Carver, age 37 of Franklin.
Carver was charged with:
+ Trafficking in methamphetamine x 2
+ Maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances
+ Felony Flee to elude arrest
+ Littering hazardous waste
+ Destroy criminal evidence
+ Possession of drug paraphernalia
+ Resisting public officers
Carverโs bond was set at $2,100,000.00 secured.
