Marion Man Charged with Possession of Meth

Asheville -- The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office announced the following: The Community Impact Team charged 37-year-old Anthony 

Len Gilliland of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. He received a secured bond of $7,000.

On Tuesday, January 28, a detective responded to a call from North Carolina Probation and Parole, about narcotics that were located on Gilliland after a search by probation officers. 

After speaking with Detective Smith, Gilliland was transported to the McDowell County Detention Center.
