Asheville Police Dept: We're thrilled to share that SPO Debbie LeCroy and Officer Kora, our amazing therapy dog, were honored with the 2024 First Responder Paws Therapy Dog Award by FHE Health!
As part of this recognition, FHE Health generously donated $2,000 in Kora's honor to the First Responders Pack Foundation, an organization dedicated to training therapy dogs for first responders.
Kora's impact on our department and the community is immeasurable, and we couldn't be prouder of this dynamic duo.

"On behalf of McDowell County Emergency Services, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and we extend heartfelt gratitude to those working tirelessly to assist their neighbors during this time of recovery and hope."
