    🐾A Woof of Hello!🐾
The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to welcome K9 Brody as our new Therapy Dog.
He is a year-old Goldendoodle (heavy on the poodle, please—just look at the curls) who is very happy to join BCSO and Buncombe County!😍
With a great love of treats and lots of pets, Brody is ready to start serving our community by being a welcoming face (and tail) at various community events, schools, and around county offices, as well as providing support during and after crises with a furry ear, or even just a good supportive lean and curious nose.
👋Next time you see Brody and his handler, Emma, in the community, make sure to say hello!

Emerson Jenkins is the owner and operator of our company. Influenced by his father who was an architect, our owner established his own home improvement company. He grew up learning the different aspects of general construction. We have more than 25 years of experience in the home repair and remodeling industry, which gives us enough knowledge to do repairs or renovation with ease and to finish the job on time. Working for several companies taught us about the different aspects of the industry such as carpentry, framework, and all types of general construction and repairs. If there is a job that we can't do, we can connect you with a company that can provide the work for you.Let us know what you want, we’ll do our best to make it happen.

Did you know this year marks the 100th anniversary of the Asheville Fire Department as a fully paid department?! To celebrate this incredible milestone and preserve our rich history, we're teaming up with Heritage Portraits & Albums to create a special 100-page heritage book. But we need YOUR help! If you have any photos, newspaper clippings, or treasured memorabilia that tell the story of AFD, we’d love to include them! Help us capture the history that makes our department so special.
Please email your contributions to AFDHeritageBook@ashevillenc.gov Let’s make this project a true community effort!

    📣 EXCITING NEWS!📣
We are happy to announce on October 5th we will be unveiling a new mural, featured on the exterior of the Memorial's visitor center building. This special project has been in the works for two years, and we can't wait to share it with everyone. Please join us that Saturday at 2pm for our unveiling ceremony.
Designed and created by local artist Katie Kasben, we hope this mural will be a welcomed addition among the other rich and vibrant murals that are a hallmark of the downtown Asheville art scene.
