Reduction and Narcotics Task Force (IGRANT)

apprehended Antonne Dewillard Smith Jr. Smith was implicated in medicine fraud involving prohibited medications, according to our research. Smith was under several active warrants issued by the Asheville Police Department.

On Monday, January 27, he was arrested at a residence on Blanton Street in Asheville. Smith faces the following charges:

-6 Counts of Trafficking in Opium or Heroin (Oxycodone)
-3 Counts of Obtaining a Controlled Substance by Fraud/Forgery
Smith is being held at the Buncombe County Detention Center on $252,000 bond.
