Fatal Motor Vehicle Accident in West Asheville
Asheville -- December 30, 2024: Asheville Police Department: Police are investigating a fatal single motor vehicle collision that occurred
Thursday afternoon in West Asheville. Officers responded to a motor vehicle
collision with injuries near the intersection of Eliada Home Road and Wind Ridge Street around 2:02 p.m. on December 26th. The preliminary investigation indicates a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by Julie Ann Rosen (07/12/1955)
was traveling west on Eliada Home Road, left the roadway, and collided with large, fallen trees. Rosen was pronounced deceased at the scene
by Asheville Fire Department personnel; next of kin has been notified.
