Marion Man Domestic Violence, Protective Order Violation Charges

McDowell County -- October 21, 2024: The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Jason Ronald Holtz of Marion

with felony Domestic Violence Protective Order violation. He received no bond.

On October 10, Detective Robinson spoke with the victim at the Sheriff’s Office. The victim stated that Holtz had repeatedly tried to contact her through phone calls and text messages, violating the DVPO taken out against him. Upon further investigation, charges were filed against Holtz.
