Asheville -- June 24, 2024: The Asheville Police Department recently conducted a special operation that focused on "quality-

of-life issues"

in multiple Asheville locations. As a result, 22 individuals were accused.

The operation was implemented in response to a substantial number of complaints from numerous community organizations concerning public intoxication, drug use, trespassing, and larceny.

In total, 22 persons were charged, 10 arrested, with a sum of 31 charges, 1 of which was a felony. Additionally, 14 warrants were served.
