Man Charged with Drug Trafficking in Buncombe County
Buncombe County -- June 21, 2024: On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office Illegal Gun
Reduction and Narcotics Taskforce (IGRANT) arrested Terris Fair of Arden for outstanding warrants. During this arrest, IGRANT seized 4.9 grams of Fentanyl, as well as 13.9 grams of Methamphetamine and various drug paraphernalia.
After his arrest, a search warrant was executed on two storage units connected to Mr. Fair. Through this search warrant, IGRANT agents located and seized a large quantity of evidence related to identity theft, credit card fraud, stolen property, and the trafficking of stolen identities.
As a result of this investigation and after consulting with the Buncombe County District Attorney’s Office, Terris Fair has been charged with the following offenses:
• Possession with Intent to Manufacture, Sell and Deliver Methamphetamine
• Trafficking Fentanyl Level I
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
• Breaking and or Entering
• Obtaining Property by False Pretense
• Trafficking in Stolen Identities
• 12 Counts of Identity Theft
• Felony Possession/Receiving stolen property
Mr. Fair remains in custody at the Buncombe County Detention Facility and is being held under a $60,000.00 bond.
