Macon County Man Faces Gun, Drug, Resisting Arrest Charges

Macon County -- April 6, 2024: Macon County Sheriff's Office Report the following on Thursday:

Macon County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the Franklin Police Department to execute multiple search warrants at a residence in the Cullasaja community.

As a result, approximately 32 grams of fentanyl and three firearms were seized.
Joshuah Lawrence Burr was charged with:
Possession with Intent to Manufacture/Sell/Distribute Schedule II Substance
Trafficking Opium/Heroin
Maintaining Vehicle / Dwelling Place
3 counts of Possession of Firearm by Felon
2 counts of Possession of Stolen Goods
Resisting Public Officer
Violating Domestic Violence Protection Order
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Possession of Marijuana
Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia

Nathaniel Joshua Cabe was charged with:
True Bill of Indictment
Resisting Public Officer
