Marion Man Arrested

McDowell County -- April 4, 2024: The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged Joseph Ryan Kelley with

felonious Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and a Fictitious License Plate. Kelley was issued a $7,500 secured bond.

On March 30th, deputies were patrolling the area of US 226 South and initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for traffic violations. Upon checking the VIN-number, the vehicle was determined to be stolen. The vehicle has been returned to the owner.
