The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office Requests the Public's Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Alleged Attempted Child Abduction
The Buncombe County Sheriff's Office continues its search for a suspect involved in an alleged attempted child abduction from 09/25/18. The incident was reported by a child in the area of New Leicester Hwy and Indian Hills Dr. The child is safe; no injury was reported.
The vehicle described is a large red van with a brown or dark red stripe. The van will have a sliding side door and one of the back windows is cracked. The van also has a sticker on the back that is heart shaped.
The driver of the vehicle is described as being a white male, blonde hair, brown eyes. The male has both ears pierced and missing several teeth. A sketch of this subject is attached.
