Asheville Police Investigate Shooting at Pisgah View Apartments

(ASHEVILLE, N.C. - September 6, 2019) - The Asheville Police Department (APD) responded to a call reporting shots fired at Pisgah View apartments just before 9 p.m. last night. Upon arrival officers discovered a woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the foot. She was transported to Mission Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

An initial investigation indicates that an altercation had taken place between a group of women prior to the shots being fired. It is not believed that any of the women involved in the altercation are suspects in the shooting.
