Macon County Sheriff's Office Seize 2.5 pounds Crystal Meth
Macon County, NC -- Macon County Sheriff's Office Face Book Announced April 11, 2019
During the evening hours of April 10th, MCSO Detectives assisted by K9 UNITS executed a search warrant at the residence of 900 Cat Creek Rd in Franklin. During the execution of the search, officers simultaneously conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle that officers witnessed exiting the Cat Creek residence. During the Narcotics Unit’s investigation, three suspects were arrested and a seizure of approximately 2.5 pounds of crystal methamphetamine, with an approximate street value in excess of $130,000.
Over the last several months multiple individuals have been arrested on drug charges as a result of this specific investigation.
Sheriff Robert L. Holland states, “Narcotic Officers & Detectives with the MCSO have worked diligently to investigate reports of possible drug activity and make cases against individuals suspected to be involved. We believe these three suspects have played a significant role in pouring methamphetamine into our community from the state of Georgia.”
Meanwhile the investigation continues and additional arrests can be expected.
