
Two People Face Drug Charges in Franklin
Franklin -- During a regular patrol on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at around 11:50 AM, FPD officers noticed narcotics activity at a nearby business.
investigation with the assistance of Macon County - NC Sheriff's Office lead to the discovery of approximately 49 grams of cocaine, 21 syringes containing liquid morphine, one handgun, drug paraphernalia, and other prescription pills.
Kathryn Lauran Kuhn, age 32, of Franklin was found to be in possession of the evidence mentioned. Additional charges are pending.

Co-defendant CHRISTOPHER ALLEN WALKER was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service in central North Carolina, and returned to Franklin on warrants obtained by the Franklin Police Department for:
- Trafficking in cocaine
- Conspiracy to traffic cocaine
- Maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for controlled substances
- No driver’s license x 2
Bond was set at $250,000 secured.
