
Wanted Felon Arrested in Asheville
Asheville -- Early Saturday morning, Asheville Police Department officers took aggressive measures in response to neighborhood concerns of illegal drug activities, arresting a wanted felon on gun and drug charges.
On May 31, officers spotted a person with an AR pistol while on proactive patrol near the 100 block of Atkinson Street.
After making contact with the man, who was later identified as Brandon Norrelle Miller (born July 27, 1987), officers took him into custody without any problems. Miller was discovered in possession of both drugs and a handgun during the arrest.

Miller was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $25,000 (or $2,500 to a bondsman) secured bond issued by a magistrate.
