The Biltmore Estate is nestled in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Located in Asheville, North Carolina, the region is known as one of the most beautiful natural places in America. Ranging from several hundred feet in elevation to more than 6000', the scenery is stunning. This is where you'll find a large variety of attractions within proximity, including Biltmore Estate and Antler Hill Village, two highly-acclaimed wineries, and plenty of unique artisan shops.

The Biltmore Estate is an iconic home that's over 100 years old. With its distinctive architecture and lush gardens, Biltmore Estate has been called the "Cradle of Forestry" and "America's Romance with the English Country House." It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as a National Historic Landmark.

It began as an 800-acre farm before evolving into the largest privately owned mansion in the country. In the early 1900s, George Vanderbilt launched a major transformation of his property by hiring Frederick Law Olmsted Sr. to choose the site for a new Italian Renaissance-style villa. The resulting 250-room house includes marble fireplaces, hand-carved woodwork, crystal chandeliers, and exterior walls that are constructed of almost one million bricks.

Discover the luxurious retreat at Biltmore Estate, one of the top tourist attractions in the nation. Beautiful gardens, dining in grand style, and a spot for everyone to enjoy – from children to travelers celebrating anniversaries or honeymoons. It is a place where new memories are made every day.
