Invasive Plant & Live Staking Workshop in Weaverville
Join RiverLink, Land of Sky Regional Council, and the Town of Weaverville
for a free hands-on workshop learning about invasive management and live staking techniques.
Participants will learn about invasive plants and best ways to remove them. Participants will also plant live stakes along stream located in Weaverville Main Street Nature Park. Live staking is a cost-effective way to reduce erosion on a stream bank and reduce the amount of sediment entering our waterways.
