Grand Opening of Aston Park Disc Golf Course

The first round of disc golf at Aston Park
This week, there will be a grand opening and ribbon-cutting event at Aston Park to show off the new disc golf course to everyone!

The course fits 18 holes and six-goal baskets into a small area. Disc players of all skill levels can play. All six goal baskets have three different tee-off points.

Aston Park Disc Golf course was made possible by a $5,000 Neighborhood Matching Grant, a City of Asheville program designed to produce shared community benefits with the goal of improving the neighborhood’s quality of life. South French Broad neighbors provided the $5,000 match with a combination of volunteer hours, in-kind goods and services, and cash.
