New Comfort Care Station in Swannanoa

Black Mountain -- October 24, 2024: Town of Black Mountain Government: A NEW Comfort Care Station is open at Owen Pool

in Swannanoa. Community members can:

Take showers
Use bathrooms
Get potable water
Do laundry
Use WiFi
Receive medical care
Access counseling
Eat a hot lunch and dinner

Open daily 7 a.m.-7 p.m. at 117 Stone Dr., Swannanoa, which is about 10 minutes’ drive west from Black Mountain.
Several solar showers will be available at the Black Mountain Pool in Lake Tomahawk Park Thursday, Oct. 24 through Saturday, Oct. 26 from 9 am-6 pm and Sunday, Oct. 27 from 10 am-6 pm. The larger mobile shower trailers previously at the location are no longer available.
