Has An Updated Schedule.
The Resource Hub at 118 McAbee Court, Flat Rock NC, 28731 will be open from 10:00am to 6:00pm on the following dates:
Sunday, October 20
Tuesday, October 22
Thursday, October 24
Saturday October 26
Each family unit will be provided supplies for one day's meal and water as it is available.
Directions: From Upward Road exit off I-26, go toward the QT, turn left onto McMurray Rd and then left into the industrial complex. The warehouse is the last warehouse to the right. Truck entrance is behind the building facing the interstate.
Local non-profits and food pantries may request supplies from the community warehouse by submitting your request through this online form, https://bit.ly/40d8biq
Notice: This order form is for non-profits and food pantries only, not for general public use. The general public can receive a daily amount of supplies at the Resource Hub.
The Henderson County Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) is in the Blue Ridge Commons Shopping Center at 2111 Asheville Highway, Hendersonville NC 28791.
The DRC is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. The DRC will provide federal, state and local resources for county residents as they apply for FEMA assistance from the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.
The DRC does not replace the Resource Hub. The DRC is for assistance in applying for federal aid and other assistance information. No supplies will be provided at the DRC.
Henderson County residents impacted by Hurricane Helene can apply to receive a one-time benefit to help buy food through the Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (D-SNAP).
From now until Oct. 24, eligible households may apply for D-SNAP by phone or in person. The Henderson County location will be at the Blue Ridge Commons Shopping Center, 2111 Asheville Hwy, Hendersonville, NC 28791. This is the same location as
FEMA’s Disaster Recovery Center.
The Henderson County D-SNAP location will be open on the weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and this Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. To apply by phone, call the D-SNAP Virtual Call Center at 1-844-453-1117 from 8 a.m.- 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 9 a.m. - noon on Saturday and Sunday.
