Rutherford County Sheriff's Locate Woman Wanted on Drug and Theft Charges

Rutherford County -- March 17, 2024: The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest:

On Friday, investigators with the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit assisted by Deputies assigned to B Crew with the Sheriff’s Office, was able to take Sarah Brianna Smith, 27, of Gaffney South Carolina, into custody. The Sheriff’s Office had posted seeking the whereabouts of Smith on March the 1st 2024. Smith was wanted and/or served with the following:

Rutherford County:
Identity Theft (X2)
Possess Drug Paraphernalia
DWLR
She will wait and be given a bond by a District Court Judge on the above charges.
Cleveland County:
-Flee/Elude Arrest W/MV
Once she makes bond, she was be transferred to Cleveland County on the above charge.
South Carolina:
-Probation Violation
-Obstructing an Officer
