Rutherford County Sheriff's Office: K-9 Kilo Presented With Quilt

Rutherford County -- November 19, 2023: Rutherford County Sheriff's Office Posted the Following on Friday:

On October 15, 2023, K-9 Kilo was injured in the line of duty while performing his job assisting deputies who were attempting to arrest a suspect from multiple vehicles breaking and entering, the suspect fled striking K-9 Kilo with the suspect vehicle.

Kilo is partnered with Sergeant Perez and has been with the sheriff’s office for over three years as well as being attached to the Homeland Security Task Force and has assisted in hundreds of cases.
Kilo has made a full recovery and is back on duty.
