Person Found Deceased in Bucombe County Identified

Buncombe County -- August 13, 2023: Shortly after noon Thursday, Deputies with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to McKinney Road, where they located a deceased individual in a wooded area.

 Jeruan William Spencer, age 22, has been identified as the person found. The next of kin, Mr. Spencer has been notified. 

The investigation continues, and anyone with tips or information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (828) 250-6670.
