Waynesville Police Find Man Dead in Vehicle near Railroad Tracks

Waynesville -- July 13, 2023: On Thursday, July 13, the Waynesville Police Department announced it is conducting an investigation into a death that occurred in the area of Hazelwood Avenue and Riverbend Street.

According to reports, the body of a man was discovered on July 12 inside a vehicle that was parked on Hazelwood Avenue next to a train track.

The police believe the death was caused by medical complications, and are continuing their investigation into the matter. No ID at this time.
