Two Arrested After Waynesviile Police Find Large Amount of Meth, Cash & Gun

Waynesville --  July 26, 2025:  The Waynesville Police Department executed a search warrant at 20 Robinson Street on Tuesday evening.

For many years, the residence has been the focus of suspected drug activities and neighborhood issues.  

About 524 grams (1.2 pounds) of meth, $8k in cash, and a gun were discovered during the search of this house and others that were there at the time.

Bobbie Jo Moore, 52, of Waynesville, and James Conner, 68, of Waynesville, were arrested and charged. Both are currently being held at the Haywood County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.  The investigation continues.
