William Hamilton Memorial Scholarship
The Buncombe Soil & Water Conservation District Student Scholarship is available to Buncombe County students attending or planning to attend an accredited college or university in a conservation, agriculture, or other natural resource-related program. 
Deadline: February 28, 2024
Award amount: $1000

Area 1 North Carolina Soil and Water Conservation District Conservation Scholarship
Available to high school and college students interested in or already pursuing a college major in the studies of agriculture, field science, conservation, energy, natural resources, environmental science, or related field.
Deadline: March 15, 2024
Award amount: Typically, $500, but may vary depending on available funding.
