Canton -- Walk along the Scarecrow Trail in Downtown Canton!

The Scarecrow Trail is Now in Full Swing! 

The Scarecrow Trail is great fun and a fundraising event to raise money to finish the new public garden and to help with town beautification and food security issues.

You'll see 35 "Scarecrows" during your walk on the trail around town, and at the Pigeon River Public Garden, hosting the Walk.
Fun for all ages, and a much-needed positive event after an area flood and the mill closing.

Tickets are available for purchase at:

the Mill Town Farmers Market on Oct 19th & Oct 26th
Canton Middle School
the Orchard Saturday, Oct 21st & Oct 28th from 10:00-4:00 p.m.
Tickets are $2 for 1 vote or $5 for 3 votes. Remember the numbers you would like to vote for when you purchase your tickets. You will turn them in after you write down your votes. Or you can purchase them ahead of time, take them on the trail, and return them to any participating business after.

FIRST PLACE: $100
SECOND PLACE: $75
THIRD PLACE: $50
 
Winners will be notified on November 2nd and announced and awarded their prizes at a later date to be announced. Winners will also be announced in the Mountaineer.
