Officer Carson was on patrol in south Yuba City on October 22, 2012, as part of our B-Graves Shift.
In the middle of Percy Avenue, she came across a rabbit that seemed lost. Officer Carson saw how calm and polite the rabbit was and picked him up. The rabbit was transported to animal control. Once he was offered for adoption, the police department made him part of their team.
"Percy" was chosen from where he was found. Percy has worked at the police station ever since he was adopted.
We are happy to share this story and know that Percy keeps things hopping along!
