This weekend, Transylvania County will host a free mobile pharmacy event that includes a distribution of over-the-counter medication.
The Mobile Free Pharmacy Event, supported by Lake Toxaway Charities, is being held at NC MedAssist.
From 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at the Transylvania Regional Hospital Campus (89 Hospital Drive, Brevard).

People 18 and older, and families in need of over-the-counter (OTC) drug supplies are eligible for this free medication handout. While supplies last, OTC products include vitamins, children's, allergy medication, cough, and cold remedies, and first aid supplies.
Along with receiving information from other partnering organizations, attendees will also be able to learn more about NC MedAssist's free prescription pharmacy program.
There are no identification requirements or income limitations. Everybody qualifies.
