Spring has sprung, and Easter is just around the corner. For children, that means one thing: Easter egg hunts! This year, there will be an egg-citing Easter egg hunt with two separate groups for ages 1-5 and 6-12.
The Easter egg hunt will take place on two designated fields, with each group hunting on their own field. This will ensure that all children have an equal chance to find as many eggs as possible, while also keeping the activity safe and organized.
One of the highlights of the Easter egg hunt is seeing the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny will make an appearance during both egg hunts, hopping around and greeting all of the children. This is sure to be a highlight of the event, and a great photo opportunity for parents.

Hey Kids! Do you want to meet the Easter Bunny?! Come out to Pinhead’s Graveyard 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Haunt on March 31 & April 1, 2023! 2 nights of family fun including a fun Easter Egg Hunt where our characters will try to steal your eggs (if you are an adult), pictures with the Easter Bunny, prizes and much more! We will run groups at the top of each hour. You will have 40 mins to look for eggs and take pictures. After the 40 mins is up we will count the eggs and give out prizes. Every one and every child will get a prize! We are also adding 500 more eggs this year for a total of 800 to find!

Long’s Chapel also will partner with Camp Ability to host an egg hunt for children ages 4 to 12 with special needs inside the Harrell Center. Check-in begins at 11:15 a.m. with the first egg hunt at 11:30 a.m. The event will take place after the Friends of the Lake 5K Road Race and Walk.
The egg hunt and 5K are part of Easter weekend events at Lake Junaluska. An outdoor Easter Sunrise Service will be held at the amphitheater below the Lake Junaluska Cross on Sunday, April 9, 2023. An Easter Breakfast Buffet will be served at historic Lambuth Inn, and an Easter Lunch Buffet will take place at The Terrace Hotel.
Guests who wish to spend the Easter weekend at Lake Junaluska are invited to book lodging at The Terrace Hotel or Lambuth Inn. To make reservations, you can book online or by phone. With our Easter Lodging Special, guests who stay 3 nights get 10 percent off and who stay 4 or more nights enjoy 15 percent off.
