The Dahlia Ridge Trail Run 5k is an all-age walk/run along the paths and through the woods of Haywood Community College.

The Dahlia Ridge Trail Run 5k is an all-age walk/run along the paths and through the woods of Haywood Community College in Clyde, NC, while enjoying the wildlife and gardens on September 14, 2024.

Dahlia Ridge Trail Run 5k is a timed run/walk for each participant and is open to all levels of runners and walkers in three categories – Runners, Walkers, and Runners/Walkers with dogs (well behaved dogs who have current vaccinations and tags are welcome). All participants will meet at the Hemlock Building parking lot on Haywood Community College's campus.

Online Registration opens June 7, 2024 and closes Thursday, September 12, 2024.

$40 All ages. *Shirts are guaranteed with registration before August 30th.

Event Day Registration in person only, $50 All ages (Race shirts may be available if supplies last - no guaranteed sizes).

Race shirts can be bought day of for $25.

Pet Registration - $10. All pets must be registered prior or day of event. Well behaved dogs who have current vaccinations and tags are welcome. Please clean up after your pet on the trail.

Go Green – bring your own reusable bottle. Water station (at half way point) will have paper cups.

Post-race party includes live music, food and drinks from local food trucks (food and beverages are additional purchases).

All proceeds from the Dahlia Ridge Run 5k will benefit student tools and technology needs.

This event is rain or shine; however, Haywood Community College reserves the right to cancel in the event of inclement weather. We apologize, due to the terrain this event cannot accommodate strollers.
