Franklin, NC -- The Town of Franklin is proud to present a special July 4th park & watch Fireworks Show on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at 9:30pm

Franklin's Annual Independence Day Celebration takes a new turn this year due to the many restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic, we will be unable to host our Annual July 4th Parade. However, this year the Town will present an evening, park & watch, fireworks show beginning at 9:30 pm. * Rain date is Sunday, July 5th at 9:30 pm

We are pleased to be working with Hale Artificier, Inc. of Lexington, North Carolina which has designed a great show for everyone that is sure to lift everyone's spirits during this difficult time we're in. The show will be shot across from the Shops at Riverwalk, formerly the East Franklin Shopping Center on Highlands Road.

The 20 minute park and watch fireworks display will feature all aerial shells, hundreds of them soaring hundreds of feet into the air. The show will conclude with a spectacular grand finale that includes 250 shells.

This magnificient and uplifting display can be seen from many locations other than Highlands Road. In fact, many will be able to sit on their front porch and take in the show.

In partnership with WFSC Radio, the event will also feature a live broadcast beginning at 8:30 p.m. At 9:30 p.m. WFSC will air a patriotic soundtrack for the fireworks display that you will be able to enjoy, no matter where you are, by tuning to 104.9 FM.
