Approve Resolution Appointing Eric Cregger as Interim Property Assessor

At its Sept. 17 regular meeting, the Buncombe County Board of Board of Commissioners approved a resolution appointing Eric Cregger as Interim Property Assessor. Cregger had previously served as Assistant Director of Property Assessment since September 2023 and has worked for Buncombe County since October 2015. 

The assessment office manages land records, individual personal property, business personal property, residential and commercial real estate, data analysis, and special programs. The department has seven divisions and approximately 35 employees.
